    This website incorporates an electronic payment option for the payment of membership dues, events admission charges and for other products and services as well as a number of online restricted-access forums for use by ACC Australia’s members.     employment register

    This website also incorporates an online employment register consisting of a Job Board for use by prospective employers and recruitment agencies to post in-house legal vacancies and a Résumé Board for use by ACC Australia’s members to post their résumés so that prospective employers and recruitment agencies can inspect them. The provision by us and the use by you of the online employment register on this website are subject to both these terms of use and the Job Board Terms and Conditions of Use and Résumé Board Terms and Conditions of Use, respectively.

    We do not warrant that any data (including any file) obtained through the website is free from computer viruses or other faults or defects. It is your responsibility to ensure that you use appropriate virus scanning software. We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused (whether negligently or otherwise) by any virus transmitted through the website.

    This agreement is governed by the laws in force in Victoria, Australia and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia and any courts, which may hear appeals from those courts in respect of any proceedings in connection with or arising out of this agreement or the website.

    refund terms and conditions

    1. All fees for ACC Australia events are published on the ACC Australia website.
    2. All fees for ACC Australia membership are provided upon registration of membership.
    3. Payment of fees for ACC Australia events and ACC Australia membership are required upon registration.
    4. Event registrations cancelled on or before one calendar month of an ACC Australia event will be charged a cancellation fee. No refund will be provided for any event registrations cancelled after this date or any registrant who fails to attend an event without prior written notification. Registrants may nominate a replacement delegate to attend the event in their place provided such request is made in writing before the event.
    5. Replacement delegates to events who are non-members will be charged the difference to reflect the non-member rate.
    6. Event registrations may not be shared between several delegates.
    7. ACC Australia membership is non-transferrable and no refund will be provided for membership registrations cancelled during the membership year. Any cancellation of ACC Australia membership must be provided in writing.
    8. All fees for ACC Australia events and ACC Australia membership are GST inclusive unless otherwise indicated.
    9. All tax invoices are generated upon payment and emailed to the registrant or payee.
    10. ACC Australia reserves the right to cancel or postpone an ACC Australia event without notice. All registered participants affected by the change will be offered the opportunity to, at their election, transfer to the next available activity or receive a full refund.
    11. Except in relation to the date of the event, ACC Australia reserves the right to vary any aspect of an ACC Australia event without notice and refund.
