Call for comments: ACC Australia Submission to Parliamentary Inquiry into Australian Whistleblower Protections

    Wed, Feb 15 2017

    CALL FOR COMMENTS

In December 2016, the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Corporations and Financial Services called for public submissions on the parliamentary inquiry into Whistleblower Protections in the Corporate, Public and Not-for-Profit Sectors. The terms of reference for the inquiry can be found on their website.

Acknowledging the potential impact of this inquiry on ACC Australia members, the ACC Australia Whistleblower Sub-Committee, with the support of the ACC Australia Advocacy Committee (AAAC) have developed the attached draft submission to be made on the inquiry.

We are now calling for the expertise of ACC Australia’s membership to provide any further comments they would like included in the draft submission by COB 21 February 2017. The current draft submission can be found here.

Please contact Deon Wong, should you wish to discuss this further:
